The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Davis momentarily.
Cook is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Davis shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Davis moves in looking to clinch but Cook pushes him off.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Davis is rocked!
Davis is breathing heavily.
Davis walks straight into a right hand from Cook - that's dropped him! Cook jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Davis from any more punishment! Davis complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
