Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bill Hardwick (ranked 8055 p4p, 599 weight class) and AJ Daniels (ranked 24850 p4p, 663 weight class). Hardwick comes to the cage accompanied by Move. AJ Daniels is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardwick lands with a hook. Daniels tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Hardwick darts in and clinches Daniels up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Daniels fails to land.
Hardwick is working Daniels over against the cage.
Daniels tries to pull guard but Hardwick won't allow it.
Hardwick keeps control of Daniels as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hardwick just leaning against Daniels, taking a breather.
Hardwick lands a nice uppercut.
Daniels is trying to push Hardwick away but Hardwick has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Daniels tries to pull guard but Hardwick won't allow it.
A shot in the inside from Hardwick.
Hardwick has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hardwick lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hardwick lands a nice uppercut.
Daniels wants to get back to striking at distance but Hardwick won't allow it.
Daniels is trying to maintain a safe position but Hardwick gets an underhook and turns Daniels into the cage.
Hardwick lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hardwick as Daniels tries to tie him up.
Hardwick working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Daniels tries a body shot but Hardwick blocks it.
Hardwick lands a left hand.
Hardwick is pushing Daniels up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Daniels has Hardwick pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hardwick manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bill Hardwick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of AJ Daniels.
Daniels has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hardwick is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hardwick lands with a short shot to the head.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hardwick.

Hardwick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hardwick drops Daniels with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Daniels looks back up at him and smiles so Hardwick waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Daniels is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Daniels shoots in looking for a takedown but Hardwick manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daniels's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Daniels is still on wobbly legs! Can Hardwick finish him?
Hardwick seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Hardwick lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Daniels falls backwards - clearly groggy! Hardwick dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Bill Hardwick spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
