The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hutchinson gets the takedown into side control.
Van Dreemir manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hutchinson's best efforts.
Hutchinson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Van Dreemir doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hutchinson.
Van Dreemir wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Van Dreemir regains full guard. Nicely done.
Hutchinson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Van Dreemir to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hutchinson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Van Dreemir pulls down on the head and he's put Hutchinson to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Matthijs Van Dreemir!
Matthijs Van Dreemir spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
