Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anthony fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dean.
Dean shoots in and drives through. Anthony sprawls well.
Dean looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Anthony!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dean lands a few punches from side control.
Dean decides to stand back up.
Anthony scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Anthony lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dean tries for a takedown but Anthony sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Anthony throws a solid leg kick but Dean takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Anthony.
Anthony lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dean's sensitive parts.
Dean closes the distance and clinches up with Anthony, looking for a takedown. Dean pushes Anthony against the cage but Anthony circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Francis Dean. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dean on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A nice leg kick lands there from Anthony.
Dean takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Carmelo Anthony seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dean keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Anthony's efforts to push away.
Dean tries to work over Anthony's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A body shot lands from Dean.
Dean tries to pull guard but Anthony holds him up against the cage and eventually Dean drops back down to his feet.
Dean has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Anthony avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dean manages to break the clinch.
Dean shoots in but Anthony avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Good leg kick by Anthony there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dean throws a looping overhand right but Anthony ducks down to avoid it.
Anthony cracks the inside of Dean's front leg.
Dean closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Anthony tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Dean presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Dean working for a submission but Anthony is keeping him at bay.
Anthony is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Dean looking to secure an arm triangle but Anthony defends it well.
Anthony tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Anthony tries to control the position but Dean now has his back.
Anthony trying to control the hands but Dean won't let him.
Anthony is trying to break free.

Dean is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Anthony is defending well though. Dean let's go of the attempt for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Good control from Dean.

Dean lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Dean controls the position.
Dean looking for the choke from the back.

A nice leg kick lands there from Anthony.
Anthony looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Anthony tries to land a leg kick but Dean saw it coming and moves away.
Anthony tries to score with a low kick but Dean moves his leg out of the way.
Anthony throws a leg kick which misses Dean's front leg but catches the back leg as Dean tries to avoid it.
Anthony dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dean. That did some damage!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Anthony.
Dean goes for a double leg but Anthony avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Anthony continues to drive forward.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Anthony.
Dean lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anthony circles away quickly and effectively.
Francis Dean is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anthony fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dean has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Anthony with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dean shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Anthony manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Anthony wants to improve his position but instead Dean has moved into half guard.
Dean seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Dean working over Anthony with some ground and pound. Anthony looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Anthony is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Anthony keeps trying to improve his position.
Francis Dean overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dean drops an elbow to the side of Anthony's head.

Anthony pushes Dean off but Dean dives into side control.
A lull in the action here as Dean stalls from top position.
Anthony looks to move to half guard but instead Dean has passed into mount! Damn!
Dean with shots to the head and body - Anthony looks very uncomfortable down there.
Anthony tries to control Dean's body but Dean pushes him off. Anthony squirms to his side and now Dean has his back!

Dean has got one arm under Anthony's chin. This could be trouble... Anthony trying to control the other hand but Dean gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Anthony has tapped out! The fight is over!
