The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abedayo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kyaw Thin sprawls well initially but Abedayo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Abedayo keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Abedayo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kyaw Thin defends it well.
Kyaw Thin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kyaw Thin tries to get out of the position.
Abedayo wants to pass the guard but Kyaw Thin is defending well.

Abedayo wants to work for an arm triangle but Kyaw Thin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abedayo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kyaw Thin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Abedayo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Abedayo wanted to stand there but Kyaw Thin had control of the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Kyaw Thin cracks Abedayo with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Abedayo looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kyaw Thin finish him?

Abedayo is rocked!

It looks like Sam Abedayo has been cut.
Kyaw Thin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kyaw Thin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Abedayo fails to land the takedown.
Abedayo looks to clinch
and Kyaw Thin counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Kyaw Thin manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Abedayo pushes Kyaw Thin off looking to stand but Kyaw Thin dives back in and keeps control.

Kyaw Thin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Abedayo is just riding it out for now. Kyaw Thin eventually gives up the hold.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kyaw Thin is looking to stall here but Abedayo recovers full guard.

Abedayo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kyaw Thin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Abedayo has his feet on Kyaw Thin's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kyaw Thin lands a head kick!
Kyaw Thin punishes Abedayo's body with a nice straight punch.
Abedayo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Abedayo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Abedayo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kyaw Thin swivels and escapes.
Kyaw Thin connects with a body shot that sends Abedayo's belly button to the back.
Kyaw Thin lands a big right hook! Abedayo looks hurt but is still standing! Kyaw Thin lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Abedayo falls down and Kyaw Thin dives in with a huge hammer fist! Abedayo's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Kyaw Thin runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
