Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Derk Furkinson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stout wants it to stay on the feet.
Stout is looking for a counter combo.
Furkinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Stout swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Furkinson or perhaps it was just good defense by Stout, which made it look bad.
Furkinson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stout but Stout pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Leo Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derk Furkinson.
Furkinson stalks Stout and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stout's face. Stout staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Leo Stout has been cut.
Stout rushes Furkinson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stout breaks from the clinch.
Stout has managed to clinch.
Stout gets control of Furkinson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stout will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Stout looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Stout is looking to stand back up but Furkinson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Stout.
Furkinson works his foot free and advances to mount.
Furkinson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Stout is squirming around, avoiding Furkinson's attempts to control the action.
Furkinson working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Stout looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Furkinson! Submission of the night perhaps?
