Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sheppard looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Victor Sheppard has been cut.
Sheppard throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sullivan throws a hook to the side of Sheppard's head but Sheppard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sullivan throws an overhand right that lands on Sheppard's shoulder, as Sheppard tries to avoid the shot.
Sullivan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sullivan misses with a series of wild punches.
Sullivan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sheppard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sullivan wants to clinch.
Sheppard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sullivan manages to avoid it.
Sheppard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Sullivan fails to land with a series of punches.
Michael Sullivan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sheppard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sheppard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Sheppard decides to stand back up. Sheppard steps back and let's Sullivan get back to his feet.

Sullivan moves into the clinch.

Sheppard drags the fight down to the ground.

Sheppard manages to escape and get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sheppard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sullivan defends it nicely.
Sheppard is looking to score with low kicks.

Sullivan misses with a jab, cross combination.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sullivan.
Sullivan moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Sheppard is rocked!
Sullivan catches Sheppard with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Sheppard forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

A relieved looking Michael Sullivan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
