The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Parruttaja's half guard.
Parruttaja kicks Moon off and gets back to his feet.
Moon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Parruttaja throws out a powerful jab.
Parruttaja moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Moon dives in and scores a takedown into Parruttaja's guard.
Parruttaja uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Moon misses with a combination
and Parruttaja counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Parruttaja digs a good body shot into Moon's ribs.
Moon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Parruttaja lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Moon at a distance.
Moon is breathing heavily.
Moon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Parruttaja connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Moon covering up! Parruttaja comes in with a big uppercut and Moon goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Pasi Parruttaja!
