The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gliba misses with a double jab

and ReConnor counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

ReConnor is working for a kimura but Gliba is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
ReConnor landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Gliba is defending against the submission attempts here by ReConnor.

ReConnor is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gliba defends it well.
ReConnor prevents Gliba from improving his position.

ReConnor is looking for a kimura but Gliba is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for ReConnor to get the leverage.
Gliba is trying to maintain the position but ReConnor is very close to passing his half guard.
ReConnor working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Gliba has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. ReConnor is working away from the top position though.
ReConnor is nestled in close to Gliba , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Gliba wants to control but ReConnor is keeping busy.
ReConnor passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gliba !
