The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Josh Heath has been cut.
Heath avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Benson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Heath swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Heath shoots in but no luck this time.
Benson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Benson lands a right hook to the body.
Benson with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Heath looks winded!
Benson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Heath sprawling to the canvas! Heath rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Benson finish him?!
Heath is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Benson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Heath is still on wobbly legs! Can Benson finish him?
Benson measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Heath ! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
