Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Claude Van Damme (ranked 6963 p4p, 629 weight class) and George Castle (ranked 8726 p4p, 707 weight class). Van Damme comes to the cage accompanied by Stormtroopers march BY-MORBID ANGEL. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Castle's coach down at Spar Bros was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Castle's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Van Damme definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

And Castle tries to counter it with a takedown but Van Damme pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Castle is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Van Damme.
Castle connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Castle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

That has opened up George Castle's cut even more.
Van Damme throws out a loose jab but Castle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Castle's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Van Damme connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Castle scrambles back to his feet.

and Van Damme counters with a crisp one two that drops Castle! Van Damme thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Castle to his feet! Castle is in big trouble!
Castle is rocked!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Van Damme, right into the meat.
Castle is still on wobbly legs! Can Van Damme finish him?
Van Damme feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Castle collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Jean Claude Van Damme was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
