Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gomu Gomu (ranked 1159 p4p, 136 weight class) and Slavko Pakula (ranked 2044 p4p, 232 weight class). Gomu Gomu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gomu Gomu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Slavko Pakula!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pakula tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pakula tried to score with a low kick but Gomu checks it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gomu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pakula - the referee stops the clock and Gomu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pakula. Gomu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pakula throws a front kick aimed at Gomu's knee but Gomu avoids it well.
Pakula misses with a lunging right hand
and Gomu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Slavko Pakula has been cut.
Gomu bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pakula's head.
Pakula moves out of range of the strikes.
Gomu punishes Pakula's body with a nice straight punch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pakula, right into the meat.
A combination from Pakula does no damage.
Gomu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pakula misses with a body shot.

Gomu instigates a clinch.
Gomu is trying to break the clinch but Pakula is controlling him.

Gomu manages to break the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gomu checks the leg kick nicely there.
Gomu looks to land a combination but Pakula avoids it well.
Pakula swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Donk. Pakula catches Gomu right on the button with a cross.
Gomu misses with a wild body shot.
Pakula throws a looping overhand right but Gomu ducks down to avoid it.
As Pakula backs away, Gomu returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Pakula misses with an uppercut.
Pakula cracks Gomu with a good jab.
Pakula throws a big shot that misses.
A big right from Pakula misses.
Gomu was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gomu lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gomu seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A swing and a miss from Pakula.
Gomu connects with an inside leg kick.
Pakula swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Gomu connects with a nice looking jab.

That has opened up Slavko Pakula's cut even more.
Pakula thumps Gomu with a low kick.
Gomu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Pakula moves into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pakula lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Gomu Gomu has been cut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Pakula.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pakula can't find room to land a body shot as Gomu controls the action.
Gomu is trying to break the clinch but Pakula is controlling him.
Pakula lands an elbow inside that Gomu shrugs off.
Gomu blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Gomu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pakula throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gomu counters with a right hand to the body.
Pakula defending well as Gomu loads up on a big left hand.
Gomu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pakula.
Pakula takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Pakula feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gomu's calf.
Gomu throws the left hand but Pakula avoids the punch easily.
Pakula takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gomu is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Gomu misses with a body shot.
Gomu blocks a head kick by Pakula.
A punch lands to the side of Pakula 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gomu circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Pakula to the canvas! Pakula doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Gomu keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
