The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ali has time to react.
Ali misses with a shot to the body
and Thompson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Thompson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ali swinging wildly here.
Thompson lands a head kick. Ali smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ali misses with a left hand
and Thompson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Thompson lands a leg kick that knocks Ali off balance momentarily.
Thompson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thompson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ali sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ali wants to clinch up but Thompson keeps it at a distance.
Thompson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Ali! Thompson dives in looking to finish! Ali is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Enoch Thompson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
