Diaz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ambitionz Az a Ridah. Joey Diaz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz fails with an attempt to clinch.

Todd manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Diaz keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Diaz is trying to trip Todd. He has hold of a leg but Todd is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Diaz persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Todd is defended easily by Diaz.
And Diaz tries to counter it with a takedown but Todd pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Todd shoots in looking for a takedown but Diaz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Todd's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Diaz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Diaz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Todd sneaks out the side door and pushes Diaz away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
