Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karlovecz David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Never Win!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Win looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
David shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Win manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
David is standing up over Win. Win looks to escape but David dives into side control.
David content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Win is trying to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
David is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Win is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
David stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick by Win misses
and David counters with a good low kick that Win was not able to check.
Win tries to close the distance and clinch but David swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
David fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Win looks winded!
David clinches up against the cage.
David lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
David works his way into side control.
The referee asks David politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. David prefers to stall for the moment though.
Win is trying to work for a sweep but David has mounted him!
David controlling from the full mount.
David looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
David lands a big elbow.
David is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Win is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Win flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. David anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Win and secures both hooks! This could be bad! David slips an arm under Win chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. David has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. David is squeezing on Win like an anaconda would it's prey. Win fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Karlovecz David!
