Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Odin Thorsen (ranked 2123 p4p, 241 weight class) and Seifer Almasy (ranked 1594 p4p, 178 weight class). Thorsen comes to the cage accompanied by Skalder og Legender. Almasy has chosen Slayer - South Of Heaven as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thorsen closes the distance and pushes Almasy back into the cage.
Thorsen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Thorsen can't find room to land a body shot as Almasy controls the action.

Thorsen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Almasy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Almasy now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Thorsen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Almasy counters with a good, hard body kick but Thorsen shrugs it off.
Thorsen lands with an overhand left.
Thorsen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Almasy misses with a hook
and Thorsen counters with a right hand to the body.
Thorsen misses with a jab, cross combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Almasy! But no joy.
Thorsen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Almasy momentarily.

enabling Thorsen to counter with a crisp jab.

Almasy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Almasy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Thorsen swinging wildly here.

A looping hook to the body misses from Thorsen. Almasy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Almasy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Thorsen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Thorsen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thorsen avoids the body shot from Almasy.
Thorsen seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Thorsen throws a sloppy body shot
and Almasy counters with a left to the body.
Almasy circles away from the clinch attempt
and Almasy counters with a nice uppercut.
Thorsen takes a swing at Almasy's ribcage but misses.
Almasy avoids the body shot from Thorsen.
Thorsen takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Thorsen is breathing heavily.
Thorsen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Thorsen throws a big shot that misses.
Almasy is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Thorsen with a body shot.

Thorsen is looking to wear down Almasy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Almasy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Thorsen counters with a right hand to the body.
Thorsen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Thorsen misses with a hook. Almasy ducked under it nicely.

Almasy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Almasy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Thorsen just misses with a punch to the body.
Almasy swings for the body but Thorsen moves out of range.
Thorsen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Almasy.
Thorsen moves out of range of the body kick from Almasy.
Thorsen jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Almasy counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Odin Thorsen has been cut.
Thorsen misses with a body shot.
Almasy scores with the left hand. Thorsen knows he should have avoided that one.
Almasy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Thorsen staying out of range there.
Thorsen looks up at the clock. Bad move! Almasy lands a right hand from hell, dropping Thorsen. Almasy pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seifer Almasy!
A relieved looking Seifer Almasy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
