And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Lester as Juarez shoots in.
Juarez shoots in for a double leg but Lester sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lester clinches up with Juarez and pushes him back against the cage.
Lester is struggling to control the position.
Juarez working hard to break the clinch.
Lester lands a right hand.

It looks like Reginald Juarez has been cut.

Lester pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Juarez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lester has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Juarez has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lester escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kevin Lester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

letting Lester counter with a right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reginald Juarez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lester shoots in but no luck this time.
It looked like Juarez was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Nice body kick from Lester .

Lester misses with a series of wild punches.
Lester misses with a head kick.
Lester tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Juarez defends well and Lester ends up having to push Juarez into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Juarez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lester 's waist but Lester gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Juarez off to one side.

Lester trying to keep a closed guard but Juarez is proving a slippery customer.

Juarez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lester to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Juarez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lester pulls down on the head and he's put Juarez to sleep! This one is all over!
