Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Kawaguchi (ranked 5636 p4p, 407 weight class) and Rambo Tan (ranked 3304 p4p, 289 weight class). Tan has chosen He's a Pirate as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rambo Tan!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawaguchi stuffs the takedown.
Kawaguchi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Tan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Tan not doing much here.
Kawaguchi is looking for a sweep. Tan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tan throwing shots but Kawaguchi is blocking nicely.
Tan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
It looks like Tan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kawaguchi throws out a powerful jab.
Tan on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Rambo Tan has been cut.

Kawaguchi works Tan's body with a nice hook.
Tan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Tan gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Kawaguchi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tan fails with the takedown.
Nice jab there from Kawaguchi.
Kawaguchi throws an overhand right that drops Tan like a sack of potatoes! Kawaguchi dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
