Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ingemar Anders (ranked 1630 p4p, 170 weight class) and Yaniv Schulmann (ranked 2135 p4p, 209 weight class). Anders comes to the cage accompanied by Gods Son. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anders swings for the body but Schulmann moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Schulmann on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Schulmann throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Schulmann has his takedown stuffed
and Anders connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Anders throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Schulmann dives in for a single leg takedown but Anders sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Schulmann.
Anders tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schulmann swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Schulmann will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Anders up against the cage.

Schulmann moves out of range of the body kick.
Anders walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Schulmann replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Anders blocks it well.
Anders throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Anders feints and then cracks Schulmann's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Schulmann down.

Anders is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

Anders is looking to wear down Schulmann with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Anders throws an overhand right that lands on Schulmann's shoulder, as Schulmann tries to avoid the shot.

Schulmann closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Ingemar Anders will probably get the nod.

The fighters circling - Schulmann throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Schulmann does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anders lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Schulmann has his foot on Anders's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anders works his way back into a safe position though.
