Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stylez Shy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Darian Moondog!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moondog walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shy checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Moondog doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Shy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Moondog.
A big right from Moondog misses.
Shy shoots for a double leg takedown but Moondog sprawls well. He's pushed Shy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Moondog fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shy manages to avoid it.
Shy throws a head kick but Moondog moves out of range.

Moondog shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shy's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Moondog is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Shy.

Shy is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Moondog is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Shy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Moondog avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
