Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Damian Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed fails to land the takedown.
Reed shoots in looking for a takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl out of it but Reed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Reed moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reed fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Anderson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Reed with a body shot.

Reed shoots in for a double leg but Anderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Reed connects with a nice short shot to Anderson's temple.

Reed is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Anderson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Reed.

Reed thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Anderson's head.
Anderson is trying to escape back to his feet but Reed uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Anderson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Reed creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Reed is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anderson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Anderson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Reed asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Reed looks up at the clock and then as Anderson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Reed smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

It looked like Reed was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
