The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mendoza paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mendoza could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Mendoza goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tyson prevents it.

Mendoza takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Tyson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mendoza swivels and escapes.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tyson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Tyson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Still in the clinch, Mendoza scores with a nice short uppercut.
Tyson is looking to break free of the clinch but Mendoza has double underhooks.

Mendoza has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tyson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Tyson is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Mendoza off. It looks like it's working - Mendoza slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Tyson displaying calm under pressure there.

Tyson plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Mendoza to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Mendoza just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
