The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Donk. Tank catches Machado right on the button with a cross.
Machado uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tank.
The fighters circling - Tank throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Tank closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Machado to the mat! Machado manages to get full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machado is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Machado can't keep his opponent in guard - Tank advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tank looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Machado keeping control of the position.
Machado could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Tank goes for an armbar but Machado turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Machado.
Tank is adopting a defensive guard.

Machado drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tank looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tank looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tank!

Tank tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tank has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Machado is looking to reverse the position.

Tank tries to advance position but instead Machado slips a leg back in to half guard.
Machado moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Machado has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tank should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Machado has tightened it up now! Tank should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
