Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Willy Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Lucky!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson gets a double leg takedown into Lucky's guard.
Lucky wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Anderson manages to pass to side control.

Anderson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lucky's head.
Anderson is controlling the pace.
Anderson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lucky is looking to improve his position.

Anderson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lucky to get to his feet.
Lucky lands a two punch combo.

Lucky rushes Anderson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lucky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Anderson shoots in for a double leg but Lucky sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lucky lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Anderson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lucky sprawls well initially but Anderson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Anderson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lucky keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Lucky is trying to control but Anderson passes into side control!
Anderson controlling the position.
Lucky tries to improve position but can't.

Lucky is still trying to improve position.

Anderson decides to stand back up.
Anderson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Anderson gets the takedown into side control.
Lucky is looking to get back to his feet here but Anderson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Lucky's back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lucky wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Anderson gets his hands free as Lucky looks to control.
Lucky trying to get back to his feet but Anderson is in full control for now.
Anderson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Lucky's body.
Lucky tries to roll but Anderson sticks to his back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Anderson is trying to stick to Lucky's back but Lucky is turning into Anderson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Anderson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Lucky.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Willy Anderson will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Lucky shoots for a takedown but Anderson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Lucky moves into the clinch.
Lucky goes for a takedown attempt but Anderson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lucky throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily.
Anderson looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lucky looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Willy Anderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Anderson has Lucky up against the cage in a clinch.
Anderson is trying to maintain a safe position but Lucky gets an underhook and turns Anderson into the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Anderson stalling in the clinch but Lucky improves position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson tries for a takedown but Lucky manages to get underhooks.

Lucky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lucky gets tackled into the cage by Anderson. Anderson maintains the clinch.
Lucky is trying to pull guard but Anderson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Willy Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Lucky.
Anderson tries to pull guard but Lucky forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Anderson jumps guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anderson is on top in guard.

Lucky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Anderson stops Lucky from standing up.
Lucky is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Lucky has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Anderson has passed into side control.
Lucky is breathing heavily.
Anderson working away.

Anderson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lucky's shoulder. That is not cool.
Anderson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lucky is looking to reverse the position.
Lucky is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Anderson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Willy Anderson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lucky wants to control but Anderson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Lucky tries to get to full guard but Anderson has control of the leg.
Anderson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lucky is just holding on here. Anderson manages to take his back.
Lucky is trying to break free.
Anderson has good solid back control here.
Lucky is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lucky is really stuck here.
Anderson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lucky can do to turn this around?
