Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wesley Pipes!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pipes.
Pipes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Skywalker sprawls well. Skywalker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pipes gets slowly back to his feet.
Skywalker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Skywalker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pipes has a takedown stuffed.
Luke Skywalker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wesley Pipes.
A head kick from Skywalker lands but Pipes takes it in his stride.
Horrible takedown attempt by Pipes or perhaps it was just good defense by Skywalker, which made it look bad.
Skywalker is looking to counter with head kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pipes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Skywalker lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pipes at a distance.
Skywalker manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pipes on his heels. He'll look to pass Pipes's guard now, I'm sure.

Pipes is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Skywalker rolls with it to try and escape but Pipes cranks on the arm and Skywalker is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
