The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Heath scores with a takedown into Taylor's guard.
Heath in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Heath pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Taylor is keeping the position for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taylor can do anything to dispel that myth.

Heath drops back looking for a leg! Taylor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Taylor manages to kick Heath off! Heath jumps back into Taylor's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taylor wants to stand up but Heath is controlling him.

Heath controls from within his opponent's guard.
Heath trying to control but Taylor is working from the bottom.
Heath might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Heath is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Heath passes Taylor's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Heath uses his free foot to push down on Taylor's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Taylor.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Heath is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Taylor is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Taylor flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Heath anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Taylor and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Heath slips an arm under Taylor chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Heath has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Heath is squeezing on Taylor like an anaconda would it's prey. Taylor fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
