Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tom Tomson (ranked 22197 p4p, 213 weight class) and Kamden Jackson (ranked 3380 p4p, 402 weight class). Tomson comes into the arena with R-Swift- Awesome God blaring out of the sound system. Jackson has chosen Valparaiso as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tom Tomson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 2 losses; Tom Tomson! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 1 losses; Kamden Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Tomson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jackson jumps guard and drags Tomson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tomson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Tomson avoids the attempt from Jackson to control.
Jackson told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Jackson is in all sorts of trouble here.

Tomson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jackson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jackson shrugs it off.
Jackson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson tries to lock up and control but Tomson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tomson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jackson wants to control but Tomson is having none of it.
Jackson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Jackson tries to roll but Tomson sticks to his back.
Jackson just trying to survive but Tomson is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
You can see the frustration on Jackson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Jackson breaks Tomson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Tomson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jackson swings around for an armbar but Tomson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jackson's guard.

Jackson won't allow Tomson to pass to mount.

Jackson is looking for a sweep. Tomson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tomson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Tomson is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Jackson wants to get back to full guard.

Jackson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tomson is working away from the top position though.

Jackson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tomson pulls his head out easily.
Jackson is not content to let Tomson control the position.

Tomson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work.

Jackson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jackson.

Jackson has his foot on Tomson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tomson works his way back into a safe position though.

Tomson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tomson is sitting in close to Jackson's body. Jackson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tomson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tomson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jackson.
