The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Man feints and as Pace raises his hands in defense, The Man changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pace pushes The Man off and gets back to his feet.
The Man scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Pace throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dan The Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Man fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Pace closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The Man is trying to control but Pace manages to pass to mount!
The Man really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Pace is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! The Man is forced to tap! Great finish!
