PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tang Kufung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kufung comes to the ring accompanied by ON BOOT STREET. BJ Aoki is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kufung fails with the takedown.
Kufung tries to clinch but Aoki moves out of range.

Aoki shoots in and bounces Kufung off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Aoki avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kufung is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kufung keeping moving, preventing Aoki from controlling successfully.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Aoki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Aoki decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kufung, up you get!

Aoki forces Kufung back against the ropes and clinches.
Kufung throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Aoki blocks it with crossed arms.
Aoki stops a takedown attempt from Kufung.
Kufung tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Kufung is breathing heavily.
Aoki is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Aoki scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Kufung with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Kufung turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Aoki sneaks back into half guard.
Kufung not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Aoki is trying to stand up here but Kufung is controlling him well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Aoki regains full guard. Nicely done.

Aoki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Aoki looking for a guillotine here but Kufung defends easily.
Aoki can't keep his opponent in guard - Kufung advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Kufung seems to be working for a kimura but Aoki defends the submission attempt.
Kufung passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Aoki!
Kufung with shots to the head and body - Aoki looks very uncomfortable down there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like BJ Aoki has been cut.

Kufung is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Aoki has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Kufung is standing up, even though he is in mount.

and Aoki counters by clinching up.
Kufung misses with a knee strike.
Kufung letting Aoki take a breather here.
Aoki avoiding damage as Kufung throws knees to the body.
Kufung with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Kufung wants the takedown. Aoki is fighting it off but Kufung persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Aoki's guard against the ropes.
Kufung wants to stand but Aoki is controlling his posture from full guard.
Kufung cracks Aoki with a solid left hand.
Kufung would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Kufung thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kufung tries to stand but Aoki is controlling from the bottom.
Aoki wants to stand up but Kufung is controlling him.

Aoki has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kufung doesn't defend quickly enough and Aoki has managed to lock this one up! Can Kufung escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Aoki on a fantastic submission victory.
