Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Carruthers (ranked 3241 p4p, 165 weight class) and Dan Sergeant (ranked 3158 p4p, 158 weight class). Jimmy Carruthers had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jimmy Carruthers looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sergeant shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Carruthers napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sergeant is staying tight to Carruthers's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Sergeant is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carruthers knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sergeant cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
