Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Caol Dos (ranked 3585 p4p, 304 weight class) and Carl Laul (ranked 23259 p4p, 540 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Laul momentarily.
Laul fails with a takedown attempt.

A thudding body kick lands there by Dos!

Laul gets tackled into the cage by Dos. Dos maintains the clinch.
Dos slowing the pace effectively.

Dos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Dos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The fighters circle momentarily. Dos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Laul jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dos walks away with a smile on his face. Laul gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dos is really struggling to control Laul but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Laul stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dos is on top in guard.

Dos is pushing down on Laul's leg trying to pass to half guard. Laul is fighting to maintain full guard but Dos has managed to sneak the leg through.

Dos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Laul is just riding it out for now. Dos eventually gives up the hold.
Dos is looking to take a break and control but Laul is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dos lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Laul or not.
Laul looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Laul takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Dos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Laul shoots in looking for a takedown. Dos tries to sprawl out of it but Laul keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dos.

Dos cracks Laul with an open hand slap.
Dos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Laul moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Laul is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Laul takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Laul shoots in looking for a takedown but Dos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Laul's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dos connects with a nice short shot to Laul's temple.
