The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker tries a head kick but it misses.
Walker pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Nice combo by Baker! Oh, that's hurt him - Walker falls to the canvas and Baker follows him into side control.

It looks like Colt Walker has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walker is trying to improve his position.
Walker is being controlled here.
Baker trying to control the action but Walker is working from the bottom.
Baker is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Walker will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Walker gets back to half guard.

Baker stops Walker from getting back to his feet.
Walker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Baker is working away from the top position though.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Walker controlling the position for now.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Walker wants to control but Baker is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Baker feints and then cracks Walker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Walker down.

Walker gets a double leg takedown into Baker's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Walker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Baker wants to sweep here but Walker controlling him for the moment.

Walker gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Baker keeps the fight on the outside.
Baker throws out a counter right but Walker avoids it with no problem.
Baker catches Walker with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Baker catches Walker napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Walker to the canvas!

Walker is rocked!
Baker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baker works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Oh Walker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Baker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Walker's head.
Walker is looking to improve his position.
Baker lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Walker quite badly. Walker pulls Baker in close trying to recover. Baker postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Walker on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Walker doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
