Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kid Reefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reefer comes to the cage accompanied by smoke 2 joints. Cherry is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Let me ride that donkey!. Don Cherry has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kid Reefer's chin.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reefer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cherry moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Reefer shoots in and bounces Cherry off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Reefer trying to control the position from guard on top but Cherry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cherry wants to sweep here but Reefer controlling him for the moment.
Cherry working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reefer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reefer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cherry wants to sweep but no luck.
Reefer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Reefer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cherry is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cherry tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Reefer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Reefer uses his free foot to push down on Cherry's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cherry.

Reefer tries to control but Cherry wriggling away.
Cherry keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Reefer with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Reefer lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Cherry is trying desperately to improve position.
Reefer is working for a guillotine from mount but Cherry frees his head quite easily.
Cherry tries to hold on but Reefer pushes him away.
Reefer with the ground and pound from mount.
Cherry can't escape the position.
Cherry is in a horrible position here. Reefer smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Reefer lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Cherry is working to get back to half guard.
Reefer with shots to the head and body - Cherry looks very uncomfortable down there.
Reefer goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cherry turns into him and now he's in Reefer's guard.
Cherry keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Reefer's head.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reefer is on top in guard.

Cherry manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reefer manages to get himself to full guard.

Kid Reefer dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kid Reefer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cherry looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Reefer needs to keep his hands up - Cherry had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Kid Reefer has been cut.
No luck for Reefer with that takedown attempt.
Cherry lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Reefer looks to land a combination but Cherry avoids it well.
Reefer shoots in for a takedown but Cherry shows good takedown defense.
Reefer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cherry counters with a crisp right that sends Reefer to the canvas! Cherry follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
