The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rios looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rios moves to clinch but Carr breaks away

and Carr counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rios won't be happy with that.

Carr throws an elbow but Rios slips to the side and avoids it well.
Rios regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carr is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
