Savage has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Billy Savage has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winkle gets caught flat footed, as Savage shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Savage in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Savage prevents Winkle from getting back to his feet.
Winkle wants to sweep here but Savage controlling him for the moment.
Winkle is still trying to improve position.

Savage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Winkle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Savage has managed to get both his arms back between Winkle's legs - danger averted.

Savage postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Winkle is looking for a triangle but Savage pushes his legs off easily.

Savage rolls with it to try and escape but Winkle cranks on the arm and Savage is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
