Teixeira kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Apaga mas não bate - APC 16. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oleguer lands a front kick.
Oleguer drives through and clinches with Teixeira against the cage.
Oleguer tries to break free but Teixeira pushes him back against the cage.
Nice elbow from Oleguer.
It looks like Felipe Teixeira has been cut.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Oleguer lands with a short shot to the head.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Teixeira as Oleguer tries to tie him up.

Oleguer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Oleguer lands a left and a right that send Teixeira crashing to the mat, dazed. Oleguer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oleguer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Oh Teixeira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A right handed body shot lands from Oleguer.
Teixeira tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Oleguer's elbow.
Oleguer lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Oleguer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Oleguer moves into the clinch.
Oleguer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oleguer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Oleguer gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Oleguer scores with a nice hook to the head.
Oleguer dips a shoulder and cracks Teixeira with a mighty uppercut! Teixeira falls back against the cage and Oleguer unloads with a barrage of strikes! Teixeira is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Oleguer screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luciano Oleguer!
