Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jolly James (ranked 4311 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Simmons (ranked 5695 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes into the arena with Sea of lies blaring out of the sound system. James has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Simmons to score with a decent uppercut.
James is breathing heavily.
Simmons uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.
James doesn't manage to clinch there - Simmons circles away.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Simmons!
Simmons looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? James is fending him off so far but Simmons persists. Nope, James circles away and we're back to standing.
James throws a combination that misses

and Simmons counters with a single leg into guard. James didn't expect that.

Simmons is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Simmons passes into half guard.
James definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
James on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if James tries to get out of the position.
Simmons working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Simmons is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Simmons passes the guard and advances to mount!

Simmons is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. James can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Simmons is going oldschool here, as he tries to force James to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so James shrugs it off.

Simmons is looking to stand but James has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
