Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Ratliff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Seth Kimble!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ron Honeybunn and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ratliff closes the distance and clinches up with Kimble, looking for a takedown. Ratliff pushes Kimble against the cage but Kimble circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kimble is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Ratliff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kimble's waist but Kimble gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ratliff off to one side.

Ratliff got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kimble has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ratliff has managed to get both his arms back between Kimble's legs - danger averted.

Kimble is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ratliff can't fight it off and eventually Kimble manages to take the fight to the floor. Ratliff looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Ratliff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kimble walks away with a smile on his face. Ratliff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ratliff shoots for a double leg takedown but Kimble sprawls well. He's pushed Ratliff's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ratliff.
Kimble tries to counter with a clinch but Ratliff shakes him off and moves away.
Danny Ratliff is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kimble fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ratliff sprawls well initially but Kimble persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kimble seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ratliff is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
