The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wierzbowski looking to score a takedown here. Block is defending well but Wierzbowski drives through and ends up in Block's guard.

Wierzbowski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wierzbowski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Block is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wierzbowski is aware though and is defending well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Wierzbowski has his hands clasped together but Block extends and breaks Wierzbowski's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Block.
