The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garret throws an overhand right that lands on Carter's shoulder, as Carter tries to avoid the shot.
Carter has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Garret is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Garret missing with a left hand there. Carter was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nice defenses there by Carter.
Carter misses with an uppercut
and Garret counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Carter scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Carter looks to land a left hand but Garret moved out of range nicely.

Carter is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Garret doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Carter crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Carter's bad books for that mishap!
