Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bessarion Alexius (ranked 3259 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Hristo (ranked 7624 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexius comes to the cage accompanied by A Country Boy Can Survive. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hristo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alexius paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A cross from Alexius lands.
Alexius throws a combination. Hristo tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Alexius rushes Hristo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hristo can't get the takedown.
Alexius lands with a short shot to the head.
Alexius definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Alexius lands a body shot in the clinch.
Alexius lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Alexius lands a hook that snaps the head of Hristo backwards.

Alexius has Hristo pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Alexius pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hristo tumbling to the mat - Alexius dives into Hristo's guard.

Alexius digs a right hand underneath Hristo's ribcage. Hristo let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Hristo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Alexius walks away with a smile on his face. Hristo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Alexius closes the distance and clinches.
Alexius throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Alexius lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hristo backwards.
Alexius lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hristo or not.
Alexius scores with a shot to the side of Hristo's head.

Alexius pulls guard effortlessly.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alexius is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hristo is controlling him.

Alexius drives through and clinches with Hristo against the cage.

Hristo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Hristo is rocked!
Alexius unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Hristo! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Alexius is unloading with more strikes now! Hristo drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
