The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch stuffs the takedown.
Sparks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ouch has managed to clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Ouch.
Sparks looking for a takedown.
Crouch Ouch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Sparks.
Ouch prevents the takedown attempt.
Sparks drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ouch looking to throw knees to the head but Sparks is blocking nicely.
Ouch landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Sparks looks gassed!
Ouch using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sparks has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ouch breaks from the clinch.
Sparks sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jab from Ouch.
Ouch takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ouch fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Sparks is rocked!
Ouch is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Sparks flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sparks is out cold! Ouch holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
