Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Carnera (ranked 5025 p4p, 557 weight class) and David Hamil (ranked 5286 p4p, 577 weight class). Carnera comes to the ring accompanied by Bad Religion - Infected. Hamil comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I want to know what love is kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carnera misses with a straight left.
Hamil shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hamil takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hamil with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Carnera to score with a decent uppercut.
Hamil will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hamil wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Carnera, who protects the arm well.

Hamil is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carnera is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Carnera is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Invictus MMA , so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Hamil is looking to take a break and control but Carnera is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Carnera is trying to improve his position.

Hamil swings around for an armbar but Carnera sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hamil's guard.

Hamil walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Hamil limp body while Carnera jumps on to the ropes and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
