Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Demian Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Deep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Deep gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Deep wants to sweep here but Roberts controlling him for the moment.
Roberts wants to control from the top but Deep keeps moving.
Roberts loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Deep has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Roberts can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Roberts will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Deep has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Roberts can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Roberts avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Roberts postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Roberts content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Roberts is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Deep has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Roberts is looking to defend but Deep has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Roberts! Deep pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Roberts taps out and this one is all over!
