Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badr Ramsay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shangu Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramsay tries a head kick but it misses.
Rua shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ramsay pinned against the cage. Ramsay gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shangu Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramsay keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rua looks to throw the jab but Ramsay is out of range.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramsay swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ramsay decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rua to his feet.

Rua shoots for a double leg takedown but Ramsay sprawls well. He's pushed Rua's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Ramsay's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rua in particular looking to stall.

Ramsay knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rua on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that Badr Ramsay will probably get the nod.
