Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maatia Supuaga (ranked 1476 p4p, 165 weight class) and Estaban Chavez (ranked 1090 p4p, 118 weight class). Supuaga's entrance music is Wanna Taki Taki. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Estaban Chavez!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez jabs at Supuaga's body.
Supuaga tries to clinch there but Chavez circles away.
Chavez takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Donk. Chavez catches Supuaga right on the button with a cross.
Chavez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Supuaga in his tracks.
Supuaga is rocked!
Supuaga shoots for a takedown but Chavez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oh Supuaga is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Supuaga tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chavez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chavez looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Supuaga seems to have got his legs back now.
Chavez throws a hook but Supuaga blocks it.
Chavez's coach down at Crassus was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Chavez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Supuaga rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chavez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chavez misses with a wild body shot.
Chavez lands a big head kick that sends Supuaga tumbling to the mat! Chavez takes a step backwards and waves Supuaga back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maatia Supuaga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Supuaga moves in looking to clinch but Chavez pushes him off.

The fight stays on the outside here - Supuaga looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Supuaga shoots in looking for a takedown. Chavez tries to sprawl out of it but Supuaga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chavez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Chavez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Supuaga tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Chavez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Supuaga can't find room to land a body shot as Chavez controls the action.
Chavez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Supuaga takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Chavez drops Supuaga with a naaaaasty hook - Supuaga is in real trouble here! Chavez dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
