The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borden closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Borden lands in his opponent's guard.
Hoppe wants to sweep but no luck.
Hoppe controls Borden momentarily but Borden frees himself.
Hoppe looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hoppe doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Borden throwing strikes from guard but Hoppe blocks nicely.
Borden is posturing up here but Hoppe has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Borden tries to roll out but it's too tight and Borden has to tap! Slick submission there by Hoppe!
