These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clown misses with an uppercut.
Clown throws a sloppy head kick and Perfect moves out of range easily.
Clown throws a lazy right hand but Perfect sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've been told by Clown's head coaches at Roosters Coop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Clown throws a lazy body kick
and Perfect counters with an inside leg kick.
Clown on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Perfect. Perfect obviously looking to wear him down.
Clown just misses with a punch to the body.
Clown thows a left - swing and a miss!
Perfect bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Clown's head backwards.
Homey Clown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perfect blocks a head kick by Clown.
Perfect lands the left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clown throws a head kick that misses.
Perfect is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Perfect feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Clown's calf.
Clown on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Perfect scores with a jab to the head.
Perfect has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Clown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Perfect counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Clown tries to get to full guard but Perfect has control of the leg.
Perfect winds up and cracks Clown with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Perfect scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Clown is rocked!
Perfect working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Oh Clown is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Perfect is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Clown is hurt! He's hurt bad - Perfect fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Clown from any more punishment! Congratulations to Perfect! Great finish!
