The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Henley.
Henley is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kawaguchi with a body shot.
Kawaguchi throws a hook but Henley avoids it easily.
Henley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kawaguchi.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Henley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kawaguchi.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Henley! But no joy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Henley walks straight into a right hand from Kawaguchi - that's dropped him! Kawaguchi jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Henley from any more punishment! Henley complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
