Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johniel Cenabre (ranked 6848 p4p, 664 weight class) and Joel Duarte (ranked 2953 p4p, 384 weight class). Duarte has chosen Nate Dogg - Keep It G.A.N.G.S.T.A. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cenabre lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Duarte throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cenabre tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Duarte manages to circle out of the way.
Duarte throws a big shot that misses.
Duarte throws a shot from downtown. Cenabre moves away and avoids it.
Cenabre moves forwards but Duarte connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Johniel Cenabre has been cut.
Cenabre lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Duarte circles away quickly and effectively.
Cenabre takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Cenabre misses with a straight right.
Cenabre bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Cenabre counters with a nice double leg into side control. Duarte won't be happy with that.
Duarte tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cenabre has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Duarte really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cenabre. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
